Anurag Pharmacy College proudly celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India on 26th January 2026 with great enthusiasm, dignity, and patriotic spirit. The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, and staff, who gathered together to commemorate the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to reaffirm their commitment to the values of the Indian Constitution.

The celebration commenced with the National Anthem, led by Ms. Mahalakshmi (3rd Pharm D), which filled the campus with a sense of pride, unity, and national fervor.

Following this, Dr. M. Chinnaeswaraiah, Principal, hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering. In his inspiring speech, he emphasized the historical significance of Republic Day and highlighted the responsibilities of citizens in upholding democratic values and contributing positively to the nation’s progress.

Subsequently, Dr. B. Raja, Head of the Department, delivered a thought-provoking address, focusing on the core values enshrined in the Indian Constitution, such as justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, and their relevance in today’s society.

The college management also addressed the students and staff, stressing the importance of ethical values, discipline, and integrity in both academic pursuits and professional life.

The celebration concluded on a joyful note with the distribution of sweets, fostering a sense of togetherness and happiness among all participants.
