Anurag Pharmacy College successfully organized a Five-Day Seminar on “AI Fundamentals” in collaboration with Magic Bus India Foundation and IBM SkillBuild. The program witnessed active participation from around 150 students from B.Pharmacy and Pharm.D streams.
Magic Bus India, one of India’s leading NGOs in the education and skilling sector—registered under Section 25 of the erstwhile Companies Act (1956)—has positively impacted over one million young learners across the country. The organization, along with the IBM SkillBuild team, delivered intensive training sessions for five days (5 hours per day), from 17th to 21st November 2025.
Course Overview
With the rapid evolution of technology, the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in pharmacy education has become increasingly vital. AI tools are transforming how students learn, research, and apply pharmaceutical knowledge.
A 2025 study highlights that AI platforms like ChatGPT are becoming powerful learning companions—helping pharmacy students access medical data, conduct research, and strengthen academic performance. Despite only 35.4% of Indian B.Pharm students currently using AI tools, those who do experience enhanced understanding, improved grades, and higher confidence levels.
In alignment with Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and AICTE guidelines—and inspired by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020—this seminar aimed to equip students with AI-enabled learning and employability skills.
