National Pharmacy Education Day is observed across the country to mark the birth anniversary of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff, widely recognized as the Father of Pharmacy Education in India. The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) officially declared March 6 as National Pharmacy Education Day to acknowledge his visionary leadership and immense contributions to establishing structured pharmacy education in India.
Prof. Schroff played a crucial role in shaping pharmacy education and integrating it into the nation’s healthcare system. His relentless efforts laid the foundation for professional pharmacy programs, significantly strengthening the pharmaceutical education framework in India.
Theme of the Event
The theme for Pharma Anveshan 2026 was:
“Future Pharma Ecosystem: Fostering Synergy among Academia, Industry, Research, Regulatory and Practice.”
The theme highlighted the importance of collaboration among various sectors of the pharmaceutical ecosystem to promote innovation, research, and professional excellence.

Principal’s Address – Dr. M. Chinnaeswaraiah
In his address, Dr. M. Chinnaeswaraiah emphasized the importance of collaborative learning and research in the pharmaceutical field. He noted that:

Essay Writing Competition – Certificate Distribution
As part of the celebration, an Essay Writing Competition was organized to encourage students to express their ideas on the evolving pharmaceutical landscape. Certificates were awarded to the winners:
