On 25th September 2024, Anurag Pharmacy College celebrated World Pharmacists Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from over 350 students across B.Pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, and Pharm D programs. The event aimed to emphasize the vital role pharmacists play in improving global health outcomes and to foster a sense of responsibility and dedication among aspiring healthcare professionals.

Highlights of the Event

1. Keynote Address by the Principal
The event commenced with an inspiring keynote speech by our esteemed Principal, Dr. M. Chinna Eswaraiah, who shed light on the various activities planned for the day. He also elaborated on the theme for World Pharmacists Day 2024:
“Pharmacists: Meeting Global Health Needs.”

2. Pharmacists’ Oath
The staff and students collectively took the Pharmacists’ Oath, reaffirming their commitment to serving society and contributing to the healthcare system with dedication and integrity.

3. Awareness and Advocacy
The celebration highlighted the role of pharmacists in advancing community health and addressing global healthcare challenges, fostering a deeper understanding of their responsibilities in the healthcare ecosystem.
