A One-Day National Seminar titled “PHARMA QUEST 2026 – Formulation and Evaluation Challenge” was organized by Anurag Pharmacy College on 29.04.2026 at the college auditorium. The seminar brought together undergraduate and postgraduate students, faculty members, and healthcare professionals from various disciplines to promote academic excellence, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning in pharmaceutical sciences.
The programme commenced with registration from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, followed by the inaugural ceremony. The seminar was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Dr. M. Chinnaeswaraih, Professor and Principal, and was presided over by Dr. B. Raja, HOD and Associate Professor. Representatives from participating colleges were felicitated with certificates of participation by the dignitaries.
Seminar Sessions
Session I: Elocution Competition
Time: 09:40 AM – 11:40 AM
Topic: “Self-Medication: A Growing Threat to Society”
The session focused on raising awareness about the risks associated with self-medication and its impact on public health. Participants showcased excellent communication skills and thoughtful perspectives on the subject.
Session II: Essay Writing Competition
Time: 11:45 AM – 12:30 PM
Topic: “Role of Drug Control Authorities in Ensuring Safe Medicines”
Students actively participated by presenting informative essays emphasizing the importance of regulatory authorities in maintaining drug safety and quality standards.
Following the sessions, a lunch break was held from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.
Session III: Formulation and Evaluation Challenge
Time: 01:00 PM – 01:30 PM
The highlight of the seminar was the “Formulation and Evaluation Challenge,” moderated by Dr. M. Chinnaeswaraih, Professor and Principal. The session encouraged interactive discussions and exchange of innovative ideas among faculty members, undergraduate students, and postgraduate students. The open forum provided a valuable platform for academic interaction and collaborative learning.
Session IV: Cultural Events & Prize Distribution
