About the Programme:

The course will give knowledge about Intellectual Property Issues in Medical Devices.

Strong IP protection can incentivize medical device companies to invest in research and development, leading to the creation of new and innovative medical devices.

IP protection can ensure that only safe and effective medical devices are available to the public, preventing the circulation of counterfeit or substandard products that could harm patients.

While IP protection offers exclusive rights to the inventor or innovator, it also promotes competition by providing a limited monopoly. This encourages other companies to develop their own medical devices, leading to better products and more choices for consumers.

Strong IP protection can attract investment in the medical device industry, leading to the development of new technologies and devices that can save lives and improve patient outcomes.
