The 79th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism at Anurag Pharmacy College on 15th August 2025. The event was graced by the presence of students, faculty, and staff members, who came together to honor the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to cherish the spirit of independence.

The program commenced with the National Anthem, led by Mahalakshmi (3rd Pharm D student), filling the campus with a sense of pride and unity. Following this, Dr. M. Chinnaeswaraiah, Principal, hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech highlighting the significance of this historic day.

Dr. B. Raja, Head of the Department, delivered a thought-provoking speech on the bravery of Indian soldiers and made a special mention of the recent Sindoor Operation. The college management also addressed the students and staff, emphasizing the importance of ethical values in education and professional life.

The event concluded with the distribution of sweets, adding joy and togetherness to the celebration.

The entire Anurag Pharmacy College family – students, teaching and non-teaching staff – actively participated in the event, making it a memorable and patriotic occasion.
