The Bathukamma Celebrations, organized by Anurag Pharmacy College, served as a platform to celebrate Telangana’s most cherished floral festival while marking the importance of cultural values in education. Bathukamma, a festival dedicated to honoring nature and the divine feminine, signifies devotion, gratitude, and togetherness.
The celebrations began with the collective preparation of colorful Bathukammas arranged in conical forms with seasonal flowers. The traditional Bathukamma pooja created a sacred and joyous ambiance on campus. Following this, students captivated the audience with cultural performances, showcasing Telangana’s folk dances and music in their most authentic form.
The event provided an enriching cultural experience for students, faculty, and staff alike. It enabled participants to reconnect with their roots, encouraged teamwork, and fostered community bonding within the college.
