The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism at Anurag Pharmacy College on 15th August 2026. The event was graced by the presence of students, faculty, and staff members, who came together to honor the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to cherish the spirit of independence. The program commenced with the National Anthem, led by 4th Pharm D students, filling the campus with a sense of pride and unity.

Prof. M. Chinnaeswaraiah, Principal, hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech highlighting the significance of this historic day. Dr. B. Raja, HOD, delivered a thought-provoking speech on the bravery of Indian soldiers.

The college management and few teaching members also addressed the students and staff, emphasizing the importance of ethical values in education and professional life.

The ceremony was concluded with the distribution of sweets, adding joy and togetherness to the celebration.
