About the Event
As part of the 5th National Pharmacovigilance Week, Anurag Pharmacy College and Mamata General Hospital jointly organized a series of events and training activities to spread awareness about Pharmacovigilance and Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reporting.
Objectives
- To create awareness about ADR reporting for safeguarding patient safety.
- To train healthcare professionals on proper ADR form filling.
- To build a culture where ADR reporting becomes a routine clinical practice.
- To encourage patients and the general public to participate in ADR reporting.
Aim:
To emphasize the importance of Pharmacovigilance in ensuring drug safety, continuous monitoring, and overall patient well-being, aligning with the national objectives of the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI).

The event was inaugurated by:

A key highlight of the week was a hands-on workshop where Pharmacovigilance experts trained healthcare professionals, students, and hospital staff on correctly completing ADR reporting forms through live demonstrations.

The 5th National Pharmacovigilance Week – 2025 successfully created awareness among healthcare professionals, students, and the public about the importance of ADR reporting and Pharmacovigilance. The program ended with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. M. Prasad.
