Anurag Pharmacy College celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5 September 2026 at the Seminar Hall with great enthusiasm and reverence. The celebration commemorated the 139th birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the renowned educator, philosopher, and former President of India.

The event was organized as a heartfelt tribute to the dedication, commitment, and invaluable contributions of the teaching fraternity in shaping the future of students. The celebration featured inspiring speeches, cultural performances, and engaging activities that reflected the students’ love, gratitude, and respect towards their teachers.

The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song performed by the Pharm.D students, creating a serene and respectful atmosphere and setting the tone for the celebrations.

The occasion was graced by the Principal, Prof. M. Chinnaeswaraiah, who extended warm wishes to all the lecturers on Teachers’ Day. He expressed his appreciation for the continuous efforts of the teaching fraternity in guiding students towards academic and personal growth. He emphasized that teachers have a vital responsibility to guide, nurture, and inspire students and encouraged students to respect their teachers and develop a strong and meaningful bond with them.

The HOD, Dr. B. Raja, highlighted the evolving nature of education and the importance of a student-centric approach focused on correction, learning, and continuous growth. He emphasized that the spirit of Teachers’ Day should not be limited to a single day but should be reflected in our everyday respect and gratitude towards teachers. He also noted that as students become increasingly knowledgeable and confident, teachers play an even more important role as mentors and guides.

Students from Pharm.D, B.Pharm, and M.Pharm programmes, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff, actively participated in the celebrations and made the event memorable. Various student performances and activities added enthusiasm and joy to the occasion.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, Principal, Head of the Department, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students for their valuable contribution towards making the Teachers’ Day celebration a successful and memorable event.

The celebration beautifully reflected the enduring bond between teachers and students and served as a reminder of the profound impact that dedicated educators have on shaping individuals and society.
